Our ride today was brutally windy. We pedaled downhill just to maintain 13 mph!! A ride I can do solo takes me 2:20 to complete, and doing the same ride, with the two of us bustin' our butts, took us 3:05 to finish.
I guess I should not complain....atleast I was out playing.

That comic is FUNNY!!! But, not to one-up you (well, ok, maybe to one-up you), but the wind in Colorado is WAY worse than in Fresno. I think you probably put out similar effort to ride in both, but with regard to FEARING the wind -- I never did that until I dealt with the darned gusts here. Honestly, I've feared for my intact bones numerous times this winter. It sucks ... or blows ... yah, whatever. Anyway, we can argue about who's tougher when I return.
You girls need to come over here to SLO and ride in the wind. Honestly, it's so windy here that if I go anywhere else to ride and the wind isn't blowing at least 15mph I fall asleep it's so calm. Anyway playing is playing, no matter how slow :-)
